Black light golf cincinnati12/10/2023 I'll list the reasons below, in no particular order. This year, however, was a disappointment, and I'm not sure we'll be returning. Every year has been wonderful, and it's a trip we look forward to all year. We spend two nights midweek, along with our in-laws, who get a separate room. We've stayed at Great Wolf Lodge every December for the past five years. do GW in winter and KI in summer!!! 'Til next time! If you want to play at KI, stay somewhere less expensive. and if you're going to GW, then play there. Why pay for a waterpark to play the arcade for any length of time? As for my other suggestion, there is often a promotion of stay here and enjoy Kings Island when it's open. The arcade is fine, but it's a Chuck E Cheese style arcade w tickets. If you have Halloween-type magical stuff at home, like medieval belts, hats, costumes, talismans to tie to the wand you can personalize it and make it even more fun. Plan on spending $15 for the 'activation' and $15+ for a wand. They have added a ShadowQuest, in the same idea and location as the MagicQuest. if you leave the resort to eat, you're looking at $50 anywhere else. The dinner buffet was pretty good, salmon with glaze, beef stew, a chicken dish, a vegetarian dish, several veggies and mac n cheese, fresh fruit and a fair salad bar (the Caesar was pretty good) and soft serve ice cream with fixings (including gummies!). The food there looked good but entrees were $13-$28+. we took it, and from what other guests were saying, it was a much better choice than the other restaurant, the Lodge. take it! You'll spend $20+ at McD and the $26 includes drinks! They also offered a dinner buffet for $40 for 4, drinks included. Was expecting to have to make a McD run, but was wow'd when they offered the breakfast buffet for $26 for a family of 4! Yes, it's a deal. When I called to ask, was told "they don't do that anymore." Bummer. we usually grab this since it's a pretty decent buffet and it's convenient not to have to rush to check out and leave the lodge and come back to play. we were not offered the $40 breakfast buffet when we booked. I think they charge for the games in those rooms, tho. Wh have gotten the Wolf's Den, Kid's Camp, etc etc in the past and enjoyed it. cool! Really, now, how much is that worth to do that with your kids? We got the fireplace room with balcony, which we liked. got to look out the windows at all the snow while standing in our swimsuits waiting for the watercoaster. No it's not a cheap stay, but don't forget you get waterpark admission the day you arrive and the day you check out. This is peak season, since Kentucky and Indiana are still out of school.
